About this boat
“Sentra” serves as a superb example of the Bavaria 36 Cruiser, delivering exceptional living space alongside impressive blue-water capabilities. This specific model features the preferred two-cabin floor plan, including a forward V-berth and a private aft cabin, providing comfortable accommodations for six when utilizing the saloon. Her specifications include the standard fin keel, a convenient in-mast furling mainsail, a bow thruster, an anchor windlass, and diesel heating. Designed for effortless handling, all primary control lines are routed directly to the cockpit.
Her navigation suite is well-appointed, featuring a Raymarine C80 chartplotter, Uniden VHF, Raymarine wind and speed instruments, a Raymarine ST60 depth sounder, and a Raymarine radar system.
The current owners have cherished Sentra since she was brand new. Over the past two decades, she has been meticulously maintained and enjoyed only light usage. Her history consists primarily of weekend excursions in the Solent, complemented by occasional holiday voyages to the West Country, France, and the Channel Islands. She remains simple to maneuver thanks to the bow thruster, an upgraded 30hp engine, and a MaxProp feathering propeller, which provides remarkable stopping power in reverse. She is a well-balanced vessel that performs beautifully under sail. The furling main is both safe and user-friendly, operated entirely from the cockpit, and maintains a clean shape thanks to its full-length vertical battens.
Inside, she boasts a traditional warm mahogany finish with elegant curves, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. She comes fully equipped with all the amenities one would anticipate on a yacht of this size.
